About Monica, ARNutr
My Philosophy
At SuccessFuel Nutrition, I believe everyone deserves to feel good in their body — to have the energy, strength, and confidence to thrive in everyday life, no matter their circumstances.
My approach is grounded in compassion and connection, helping people who are ready to take that first step toward feeling better.
I see food as one of our most powerful forms of medicine — a tool to naturally fuel, support, and restore the body. When used alongside necessary Western medicine and lifestyle support, nutrition becomes a way to truly transform how we feel, live, and show up each day.
My mission is simple: to help people feel good again. Because when you feel good, you do good — for yourself, your family, and your life.

A note from Monica
Hi, I’m Monica – an evidence-based Associate Registered Nutritionist (ARNutr), mum of two, and founder of SuccessFuel Nutrition. I’m so glad you’re here.
I live in beautiful Wānaka, New Zealand. I love sunny-day hikes in our backyard mountains, the occasional half marathon, a strong gym session, and coffee with friends. That balance — of movement, joy, and connection — is something I try to bring into both my personal life and my work.
At SuccessFuel Nutrition, I believe that you are the expert in your own life — and my role is to support, inform, and equip you with the best possible tools to take control of your health with confidence. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply want to feel better in your day-to-day life, I'm here to walk alongside you with empathy, science, and practical support.
My passion for nutrition is rooted in a lifelong fascination with the human body — how quickly it can heal, adapt, and thrive when given the right support. In my 20s, I began healing my relationship with food and saw how nourishing myself properly had profound effects on both my physical and mental wellbeing.
Since then, I’ve become a mother — one pregnancy smooth and empowering, the other more complex and humbling. Now, as I move through the season of midlife, I bring these lived experiences with me into my work: helping others fuel with intention, meet challenges with strength, and feel empowered at every stage of life.
I’ve always been drawn to learning, beginning my education in the United States and continuing my studies here in New Zealand. I stay actively engaged in the latest research and developments to ensure the guidance I provide is grounded in current, evidence-based nutrition science. As an Associate Registered Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of New Zealand, I uphold high professional standards and a commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Nutrition from the University of Otago, a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University, and remain dedicated to ongoing education and professional development.
SuccessFuel Nutrition is a space where you lead the way — and I provide the expertise, encouragement, and accountability to help you get where you want to go. Whether you're preparing for your best pregnancy, training for a personal best, working to reduce medications, feeling more confident in your body, or moving through menopause with clarity and support — your goals are valid, and your health journey is worth investing in.
No matter where you’re starting, it’s always worth exploring what truly fuels your body, so you can feel your best and live a fuller, more vibrant life. I'm here to help you do just that.
